I create visual stories about science and nature.

The common thread of my career is the use of information graphics, illustrations, animations and data visualizations to inform, engage and inspire people. I interpret scientific content to make complex processes and concepts approachable and to foster appreciation for nature and science.

As a manager of graphic production at National Geographic I create visual content for the magazine's print and digital platforms in collaboration with designers, developers, and researchers, and lead the production team of associate graphic editors that ensures maps and graphics meet precise print production standards.

Formal education in Biology and Science Illustration preceded my doctoral studies, a dive into digital media research in natural history museum settings. This is the reflection of my multidisciplinary interests—science, art and technology for the advancement of science education and communication.
