Diana received her Certificate Degree in Scientific Illustration from the University of California in Santa Cruz. Her background includes a degree in Biology, several courses and workshops in drawing and science illustration, and illustration internships in some of the most prominent natural history museums.

Working as a freelance artist from her current base in the United States, she is also often involved in projects abroad, particularly in her home country, Portugal.

Diana's training and expertise in visual science communication grant her the ability to comprehend complex scientific messages and translate them into accurate and appealing visual materials.
