The celebration of 2010 as the International Year of Biodiversity brought many events to the public around the world, highlighting the importance of species biodiversity, their threats and the pressing need for conservation. I was commissioned by the Pavilion of Knowledge in Lisbon to produce an illustrated panel about tidal pools and the diversity of organisms that use them as habitat. The panel was fully accessible to blind visitors displaying the illustrations as raised-lines and labeled in braille. See a sample of the illustrations at the portfolio page.
