Texas Oil and Gas

The Texas Oil and Gas exhibit at the Bullock Texas State History Museum explores the past, present, and future of the oil and gas industry in Texas and how it impacts the United States and the world. The museum commissioned multiple large scale graphic panels explaining processes, geology, and distribution that are on display side by side with a rich variety of objects such as rock samples and drill bits. A real size operating oil jack pumps up and down at the same time the animation shown here depicts what is going on 9000 ft below the surface.
